This webcam works well with the Apple built-in camera that two of my kids use and I have good conversations and reception with them. However, I notice it doesn’t work too well with the Logitec which another of my sons uses and there is frequent break-up of voice and picture.

I wish the Philips had a wider lens so I could include someone else in my picture (as all my kids can do). I have to move back a good distance from the camera to make that happen. Also wish I could swivel the camera to point out something in the room that I’d like to show.

This webcam offers a great picture. I can’t speak much for the microphone because my cats thought it was a toy just for them and chewed right through the wire. This product would be a little better if it had adjustable angles or something that made it a little easier to position well, but as long as you have a way to sit it up at the right height and angle you’ll be very satisfied with the quality of the picture for the price.

This webcam is pretty good. It offers a clear picture and is easy to use. It does come with a microphone that works fine, but it isn’t attached to the camera itself. I have put it somewhere safe where even I can’t find it. I would prefer one attached. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again. I have had it over a year and it is still working the same as when I bought it.

Vista users beware! DO NOT INSTALL bundled software! It will render your system unbootable. If you have Vista just plug the camera in and let Windows find the driver on Windows update. It works pretty good after that.
